BMW M4 for Sale
Used BMW M4 For Sale
Released in 2013, the BMW M4 for sale represents one of the newer performance-oriented mid-sized coupes from BMW’s M division. Available in the M4 coupe and M4 convertible body styles, the M division 4-series is equipped with a powerful and responsive 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged, inline, six-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission, or optional 7-speed M-DCT gearbox. With upgraded and lowered suspension, braking, and accentuated aerodynamic bodywork, the car sets itself apart from the commuter crowd as a driving machine to behold.
Officially dubbed the F82, this generation incorporates carbon-reinforced plastic in components such as the roof, trunk, strut braces, and carbon-ceramic brakes to improve at-speed acceleration, handling, and stopping power.
A new feature is the Active Sound Control system, live transmission of the drivetrain soundtrack that can be selectively played through the car’s speakers and cabin. Unlike systems from other brands, which play pre-recorded engine noises, this feature provides a direct and amplified high-quality experience of the inline six's symphony.
From the street, the M4 is identifiable by its lower and wider stance than traditional 4-series, a carbon-fiber roof, tri-color M badges inside, and quad rear exhausts. Flared and expanded front and rear bumpers funnel air into and out of the brake housings for optimal cooling and improve the M car’s downforce at high speeds.

Pushing the limits of their legendary straight-six engine, BMW has unleashed a brutal new track car: the M4 GTS. The proof is in the lap time: 7.28. For those needing to lap the Ring in a Bavarian masterpiece, a host of new features will be at your disposal.
At its core, the GTS utilizes the twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine. Unlike the base models, however, the GTS has what BMW is calling innovative water injection technology.” This new injection system raises the power up to 493 hp, a 75 hp increase over the base model, and 442 lb-ft of torque, a 36 lb-ft increase over the base model.
In addition to the wild power, engineers stripped all non-essential weight and made extensive use of carbon composites. No manual transmission will be offered, but the seven-speed M-DCT has tougher internals and a revised launch mode to cope with the power.
Thanks to the car’s lightweight carbon fiber construction and the aforementioned boost of power, the GTS is, in a word, quick. In fact, it can complete a 0-60 mph run in 3.6 seconds, .3 seconds faster than the base model, and has a limited top speed of 189.5 mph, which is 33.5 mph faster than the base model.
An optional club sport package offers an Acid Orange roll cage behind the rear seats with provisions for a six-point racing harness. Covering the carbon-fiber seats is a mix of Alcantara and Merino leather, with cutouts to save weight. Each owner will receive a suspension tuning box which includes a spanner wrench for the springs and a dial for tuning shock rebound. For the 30th anniversary, BMW is building 700 examples, each one destined to be an instant collectible.
The newest addition to BMW’s model lineup is immediately recognizable and stunning in its soft-top and coupe livery. While the sports car wears the newest name tag in BMW’s collection, it shares most of its suspension and drivetrain underpinnings with its M3 sibling. Both soft and hard top Ms are particularly notable because of their drivetrain. Featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine in place of the previous generation’s V8, the sports car calls to its legendary six-cylinder origins and builds upon that platform to create a 425 horsepower masterpiece capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Armed with the more tactile six-speed manual, this time may increase slightly, but the added involvement with the drivetrain is well worth it. Inside, BMW has incorporated carbon fiber into the trim of the cockpit to save weight and create a sporting interior atmosphere. A combination of digital age wizardry, an innovation that pushes the boundary of physics and sporting luxury, the M4 should be on your wish list this year.
High-performance convertibles are fantastic things, and the new 2015 M4 convertible is set to raise the bar even higher. The engine is the true heart of a BMW and this TwinPower 3.0-liter inline-six will deliver 425 horsepower and 406 foot-pounds of torque, redlining at 7,600 rpm. It will get you from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds with the double-clutch transmission and a spot of M Launch control. These modern three-piece retractable hardtops are amazing feats of engineering; they can fold up in 20 seconds while still rolling along at 20 mph. The beauty of the hardtop is that you really can enjoy the full experience of both driving worlds. With the top up it’s as quiet and solid as a sedan; with the roof down, you get the full open-air stimulation. From a design perspective, the M4 Convertible is a mix of muscular M features, such as the intakes and hood bump, with a liberal application of M detailing and logos. The M4 is fast, fun and a true dual personality.
A limited-edition vehicle, the BMW M4 CS & Convertible is touted by the German automaker as an “everyday supercar.” It is designed to be just as ready for the road as it is for the track. This impressive, multi-functional vehicle was designed with a focus on weight reduction, aerodynamics, and muscular aesthetics. To keep the weight to a minimum, BMW designers opted for super lightweight materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the engine hood and spoiler, and compacted natural fibers for the door panels. This allows the vehicle to maintain a weight that is optimal for racing without sacrificing quality or the luxuries BMW drivers have grown accustomed to. Whether it is the coupe or the convertible, the M4 CS is bred for high-performance driving.
