Audi TT for Sale
Used Audi TT For Sale
Shown as a concept in 1995 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Audi TT for sale was developed on the platform that supported other small Audis and vehicles available under the VW Audi umbrella. Audi began offering the TT as a small 2+2 coupe or two-seat convertible in 1998 with a transversely mounted 1.8-liter four-cylinder or a 3.2-liter VR6 engine option. Since its introduction, the TT has occupied a steady place in the small sport and upscale sports car niche, selling in its original design until 2006 when it received several revisions and a facelift.
The TT featured new laser beam welding technology in the construction of its steel unibody, with stronger, seamless welds that increased the car’s structural rigidity and build quality. It is important to note that only manual transmissions were available in the European market TTs until 2003. One of the criticisms of the first-generation TT was its bubbly styling and less than an aggressive stance on the road. This was somewhat remedied in the next generation starting in 2006.
With the emergence of the new TT concept in 2005 came another, larger Audi concept based on the TT, the Sportback. A mid-sized sedan, the Sportback features similar frontal and rear styling, and a roofline that echoes that of the TT coupe.
The second generation TT featured more angular and aggressive styling in line with the brand’s design trend, available in front and all-wheel drive like the previous generation. In addition to the existing engine options, larger displacement four-cylinder versions were available, naturally aspirated and turbocharged, as well as a T5 generating 335 hp in the Audi TT RS package. Audi’s second-generation TT was available in the coupe and roadster body styles until 2014, when the third generation concept debuted at the Detroit Auto Show for the 2015 production year.

The TT Clubsport Turbo shines above the rest. The five cylinder, turbocharged 2.5-liter TFSI pumps out 600 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, however, the true gem is what Audi calls their “electric twin turbo.” The electric twin turbo system is so well integrated that the Audi TT Clubsport Turbo is ready to unleash any time the gas pedal is depressed. Of course, a model of this caliber stands out from the rest in more ways than one, including its wide-body aesthetic. The Clubsport Turbo is wider, edgier, more streamlined and instantly recognizable, even when sitting among its fellow teammates. The Clubsport Turbo is certainly not for the faint of heart.
Unique and bold, the sport coupe leaves quite an impression—not only on the driver but on observers as well. With Audi’s award-winning 2.0-liter turbocharged TFSI inline-4 engine, boasting 211 horsepower with 258 foot-pounds of torque, what could be better? Not only does the TT sport Audi’s Quattro® all-wheel drive for that perfect tire-to-tarmac connection, but it also fronts agility with reduced weight due to its aluminum construction. LED daytime running lights, a Bose sound system and full iPod integration all starting at just over $40,000 make the TT unbelievably desirable. Aside from the features above, the Audi TT now includes a parking system with rear backup sensors as a safety feature, and the exterior of this beauty will leave your friends’ jaws dropped. Precise lines, curves with a certain sharpness and an aggressive stance instigate a ‘double-take’ and a look back every time you park it. There’s an incredible amount to be impressed by inside and out, leaving enthusiasts, well, incredibly enthused.
